Sloppy Joe Turnovers

1 lb Ground Beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup katsup
1/2 cup sour cream
10oz can flakey biscuits

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a large skillet brown ground beef and onion until fully cooked. Take the pan off of the heat and add salt, garlic powder, katsup, and sour cream; mix well.

Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Roll each biscuit into a 4x4 inch square. Place approx. 1/4 cup meat mixture on each square.

Fold each biscuit into a triangle and seal the edges with a fork. Cut three vents in each turnover. Brush with oil before baking if a flakier turnover is desired.

Bake 15-20 min. or until golden brown.

This is one of my favourite family recipes. This has been a family recipe going on thiry years now. It makes for a great casual meal and can be saved as leftovers (both cold or hot) for up to a week. A picnic favourite :)

Hmm, that sounds yummy. Thanks for sharing.
I'll have to see what I can use for the biscuits, not sure we have that here. Maybe in the store that sells US stuff.
